Please join us for our March meeting! We will be discussing Smart Things by Mike Kuniavsky, a book about the UX in the new world of distributed smart devices.
Who: You! and the coolest, interesting UXers in LA.
When: Tuesday, March 15th, 7pm
Where: eHarmony offices - 2401 Colorado Ave, 2nd floor (Map)
eHarmony is in the Yahoo! Center at the NE corner of Colorado and Cloverfield. The Yahoo! Center can be a little bit confusing, but they're in the building at the corner of Colorado and Cloverfield. Look for signposts painted red, marked "2401."
Parking: Cash-only paid parking in the available in the Yahoo! Center lot, or metered street parking that I believe is free after 6. There’s also free two hour parking in the surrounding streets.
Remember, it's fine if you haven't read all of the book. Just come ready to discuss the relevant topics!
Please email me at nightlight at gmail if you'd like to volunteer to bring drinks or snacks.
Hope to see you all there!

Thanks to everyone for coming last night, it was a really great time! I am constantly grateful to be a part of such a curious, engaged, and friendly community. A big thanks to Rachel and eHarmony for hosting us, and to Diane and 24 Seven Talent for providing the pizza.
In case you're curious, here's the video of Mike Kuniavsky talking about information as a design material at last year's Device Design Day: http://vimeo.com/15645402.
Don't forget to send me your book recommendations, and I'll get the book selection up for our May meeting as soon as possible.
